std/debug

Debug symbols and backtrace resolution for iyi programs.

import std/debug to use it. Source: src/std/debug.iyi at v0.18.0.

Resolves instruction addresses to source locations (file:line:column) and function names by reading the program's own debug information natively, without external libraries or foreign dependencies.

Supported platforms:

Darwin (macOS): Mach-O binary and companion .dwarf / .dSYM bundle
Windows (x86-64): the PE headers the loader mapped, and the CodeView
PDB the linker wrote beside the exe. A program with no PDB next to
it — a released zip ships none — prints its frames as addresses.
Linux (x86-64, aarch64): the stack walked by the program's own
  `.eh_frame`, then `/proc/self/exe`'s `.symtab` and `.debug_line`.
The prelude has no walk of its own on Linux; importing this module
installs one beside the resolver. A stripped program prints its
  frames as addresses.
